If you’re not a graphic designer, is sure that once you’ve been in this situation: you need to generate an image, a chart or infographic and you have the right software on your computer, and if you hurry, look, download and install it you will consume valuable minutes.
Given the need to edit or create images in a hurry, many are the people who, in desperation, resorts to MS Paint, but we strongly beg to be better than that: there are plenty of tools on the web to get you out of trouble without fill the world with more ugliness. which lets you easily edit graphics beautiful. Today we bring you some options for other needs.
1 For editing photos: Pixlr
For years Pixlr is my first choice to edit a photo quickly and well . You have three options: Pixlr-O-Matic, which basically allows you to do the same as Instagram, but online (you can apply effects, overlays and borders, and has a number of options for you to spend some time on that); Pixlr Express , besides having permte effects set options like brightness, contrast, smoothing, etc., and add stickers and letters (that is basically the same as the app Pixlr mobile), and Pixlr Editor , able to cover almost any basic need editing you can ocurrírsete (even it is able to handle layers and masks).
2 To create infographics: Piktochart
Piktochart is a simple web application which generate attractive infographics with the information you want. The free version of the service requires that the images generated with your logo (at the foot of a small computer graphics, nothing too flashy fringe) since infographics are public on the website of Piktochart (similar to what makes Prezi with free) accounts. It also offers a limited number of issues, but are more than adequate. Having tried countless tools to create infographics Piktochart great advantage is that it supports special characters and accents: without an infographic in Castilian eñes not look good at all.
3 To create animated GIFs: Make a GIF
Sometimes a GIF is worth a thousand words. There are many online tools to create animated GIFs , butMakeAGif.com can create one or several images from a video from YouTube. Personally I find the latter more useful option. Other tools generate only GIFs from images (like GIFmaker.me ) or only from video (GIFsoup.com )
. 4 To create images with quotes: Pinwords
Pinwords is a small web application where you can basically choose three things: a background image, a text style, and the text you want to appear. When the image is ready, lets you share it to Pinterest, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook or email directly from the application. Is clearly designed to Pinterest , as it indicates the name itself, but it is very simple to use and is made with (relative) good taste. Yes, you have very few options.
. 5 To Comics: That StoryBoard
StoryBoard That is a much more advanced tool that allows you to create a graphic story with predesigned elements : gives you a “grid” or grid where to place your characters, costume choices, positions and bubbles, and objects, forms and scenarios for you do what your imagination allows. Originally created for teachers and students, StoryBoard That offers several paid versions and a free version, with certain limitations as it only allows you two comics a week, and the images carry a watermark with your logo .
