We’re already used to seeing amazing Huawei phones and it seems that the Chinese manufacturer wants to impress its fans one more time before the end of the year! A lot of rumors about the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 made the rounds online until now and it was time for a solid amount of news about the handset, including a potential launch date, to be released.
According to the folks over PhoneArena, it’s very likely to see the handset being unveiled in early November, in three different versions. To be more specific, two models will come with 4 GB of RAM and either 64 GB of storage, available for 3999 Yuan (~$510), or 128 GB of space, for 3899 Yuan (~$585).
A smartphone with 6 GB of RAM. Yes, we’ve reached that point!
However, the most interesting Huawei Mate 9 model will have a whooping 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, retailing for 4699 Yuan (~$705). Of course, we need to mention that the prices mentioned above are just for the manufacturer’s homeland, China, so they might vary a bit for other markets.
Moving on with the specs, the Mate 9 should feature a USB Type-C port, as well as a fingerprint scanner on the back, placed under the dual-camera setup. Speaking about the camera, it’s likely to be Leica certified, just like Huawei’s flagship, the P9.
Finally, let’s not forget about the operating system, which is expected to be Google’s latest dessert, 7.0 Nougat, customized with the manufacturer’s Emotion UI.
A color for everybody
The Huawei Mate 9 could be available in a total of 9 colors, including amber gold, amber gray, ceramic white, champagne gold, mocha gold, silver, pink gold, shiny black and sky gray. Now this is what we call a wide selection!
