With just a few days left until the Mobile World Congress opens its gates, somebody just spilled the beans and revealed one of the most expected smartphones of the event, the Huawei P10 Plus, in full glory, giving us the chance to see the differences between this model and the regular P10.
Both models will be launched at the same time, but the P10 Plus will be a bit different. To be more specific, the leaked renders reveal a smartphone with a dual-curved display, meaning that Huawei might pull out a Samsung a launch pretty much two variants of the same phone: one with a flat screen and one with a curved one, while the specs remain similar.
This is one sexy smartphone!
According to Gadgets NDTV, the same images reveal that another difference between the Huawei P10 Plus and the regular P10 will be the position of the fingerprint scanner, as the Plus will rock a rear-mounted sensor, instead of being positioned under the physical home button.
Other interesting features we just found out are the presence of a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the phone, for charging and data transfer, as well as the option to choose a Black finish for the handset, among other colors.
Poppin’ the hood reveals same internals
Spec-wise, we’re looking forward to seeing a 5.5″ QHD display, with a Huawei-made Kirin 960 chip under the hood, aided by 4 or 6 GB of RAM, again depending on the variant. As for the storage options, users will be able to choose between 32, 64 or 128 gigs of on-board memory.
There’s no doubt that the most interesting feature of the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be the Leica-branded dual-camera setup on the back, with two 12 MP sensors, as well as the 8 MP front-facing snapper. Both handsets will have a 3100 mAh battery and run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, customized with EMUI 5.0.
