LG definitely managed to impress us with this year’s flagship, the G5, but this doesn’t mean that they’re done with releasing cool devices in 2016! We already know the LG V20 is set to make its debut on September 6, during an event in San Francisco, but considering all the hype the South Korean manufacturer has made around the handset, there’s one question left? Will it live up?
Android 7.0 and many more goodies!
Until know, Google already confirmed that the LG V20 will be the first smartphone to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, but this was just the beginning, as one more announcement was made today!
The folks over GSM Arena claim that the handset will also provide a high-quality audio experience. A few weeks ago, a couple of rumors claiming that the V20 could be the first handset to offer a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC made the rounds online, while today, the latest details revealed by LG confirmed this, in some way or another.
To be more specific, the LG V20’s audio department is the result of a collaboration between the manufacturer and B&O PLAY, responsible for some amazing high-end portable audio products and headphones.
Want to hear how some real headphones sound?
“LG and B&O PLAY worked closely together to bring the best sound to users by optimizing the audio capabilities of the V20 smartphone. To enhance the total experience, the V20 set will include a special pair of B&O PLAY earphones and a set of wallpapers designed for V20 which includes the official logo of B&O PLAY, as a certification of B&O PLAY premium audio,” said an official statement.
Hopefully, this will be just the start and the LG V20 will actually be one amazing device! Also, maybe other manufacturers can ‘steal’ this move as well and start selling their phones – at least flagships – alongside some real headphones, not some cheap models, as most of them do.
