If you’re planning to get yourself a brand new iPhone 7 right now, with that stunning Jet Black look, we have some bad news for you: it’s completely sold out.
This Thursday, the Cupertino-based manufacturer said that they have already run out of the initial batch of phones, during the pre-order period, so the Jet Black iPhone 7 won’t be available for the walk-in customer release, happening this Friday.
Want a new iPhone this weekend? Make sure you’re first in line!
Therefore, if you’re planning to queue in front of an Apple store this Friday, in order to get your hands on the new handset, you will only be able to get it in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold and Black. Still, Apple announced that even these colors will be available in “limited quantities”. Keeping it short, the handset was intensely claimed during the pre-order period, meaning that it can be considered a success already.
“We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience as we work hard to get the new iPhone into the hands of everyone who wants one as quickly as possible,” Apple said in a statement.
As a side note, the iPhone 7’s bigger brother, the 7 Plus is out of stock in every color. Apparently, users are delighted by a bigger display and that impressive dual camera setup on the back, as well as a better battery life.
Want a Jet Black iPhone soon? Try getting it online…
However, if you still want to get the iPhone 7 in your favorite color, including Jet Black, you can order one online, but the wait might be longer. Apple claims that due to the high demand, delivery dates for some models will be pushed to November, according to CNN Money.
Of course, this is nothing but great news for Apple, as the demand for their new handsets is bigger than anticipated, as its stock is currently up 8% this week, after surging more than 4% this Wednesday.
